AOL Shield is a web browser based on the Chromium project which includes several different security features in order to protect privacy and prevent identity theft.
Some of the main features of the AOL Shield browser are the anti-keylogging, anti-screen capture and encryption it offers. For example, making screenshots of the current screen is disabled. It also has some features which help prevent phishing, primarily by blocking them.
Just like Google Chrome, AOL Shield is pretty fast and renders web pages correctly. It also includes all of the standard features you’re likely the find in almost all modern browsers like bookmarks, incognito mode, search engine integration, etc.
In the end, AOL Shield is a rather mediocre attempt at providing privacy protection but some of its features have merit.

- Anti-keylogging technology provides real-time encryption that hides what you enter on your keyboard from hackers
